As you have probably seen on my Instagram I have recently moved flats in London and you guys can finally have a nosy inside..
Moving has to be one the most stressful/exciting events in life, there is so much to prepare and with this place being totally unfurnished this was a really fun but costly project!
Our move in day was the day we got back from Marrakech..note to self- NEVER arrange a move the day you get back from a relaxing break.
Before we moved, I wanted to be sure on what each room was going to look like and what colour theme would work- this is actualy really hard to vision when you can't see the room or the furniture, so I created mood boards which really helped with what to choose.
This was the living room board- I was really struggling on what colour theme to go with as my previous living room was green and beige, I wanted something different so I went with more neutral/earthy colours and then a pop of papaya orange velvet.
I wanted to keep the bedroom simple and clean. I went for a grey and white theme (very Brissi style). We painted a feature wall in a dove grey which the bed is against, I am so happy with how this looks.
As you enter the flat there is a large space and I was flirting with ideas on what to fill it with. After lots of scrolling and saving on pinterest I decided on having two statement navy velvet chairs from Made, a brass lamp and little gold coffee table. I wanted a luxe waiting room feel with a Soho house twist. I feel every entrance to a house should have a little wow factor..
I was lucky enough to transfrom the second bedroom into a wardrobe/office room. I ordered the PAX Ikea wardrobes which are genious and you can design them to your needs.
