Making Almond Milk
Making almond milk has become so easy thanks to my Almond Cow, everyone needs one of these mighty machines. You can make any type of nut milk you want in about 3 minutes, its super easy to clean, zero waste as you can re-use the nut pulp after and it makes the most delicious frothy milk. I may have a discount code for you to purchase one at the bottom of this post ;)
All you need is:
Half a cup of soaked Almonds (I usually soak for 4 hours)
3 Medjool Dates
1 teaspoon of Lucuma powder (I love the taste)
1 teaspoon of Vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of Agave Nectar
And the Almond cow machine which does all the work for you! Simply pop the almonds, dates and lucuma powder into the filter basket and fill the base with water up to the line and add the vanilla and agave nectar. Press the green button and the machine will go through three processes of making the milk and voila!
The milk is always frothy and full of flavour and I love using the remaining pulp for baking and smoothies so there is never any waste.
